We have all rooms in the Page House Inn set aside for Thursday evening through Saturday evening for our wedding. There are many rooms and even more beds, but it would help to coordinate who wants to room with whom such that we can utilize the Bed and Breakfast most effectively! I will update this post as everything progresses.
The first floor has one room, the Bathe Suite. It has a single king-sized bed. Sarah and Justin have reserved this room.
The second floor has three rooms, each with their own bathroom. It can reasonably sleep up to 9-10 people. Mistress Adella's Suite has a single king-sized bed. It has an adjoining sitting room with a futon where additional guests could stay. Mr. Herman's Room has a single king-sized bed and also has a door to Mistress Adella's sitting room. Miss Diane's Suite has a king-sized bed and an adjoining sitting room with a queen-sized sofa bed.
The third floor is perfect for our guests who want roommates but don't want to "cuddle with them." All three rooms have their own bathrooms and two twin beds that can be separate or pushed together, depending on how friendly you become with your roomie as the weekend progresses. They are Master Percy's Room, Master Lawrie's Room, and Missy Hulda's Room. In all, 6-8 people can occupy this floor.
The Inn also has two roll-away twin-sized beds that can be moved to the room of your choosing.
Floor | Room | Beds | Occupants |
---|---|---|---|
1st | Bathe Suite | One king | Sarah and Justin |
2nd | Mistress Adella's Suite | One king, one futon | John, Diane, Brittany V. and Eric |
2nd | Mister Herman's Room | One king | Jacob and Brittany H. |
2nd | Miss Diane's Suite | One king, one queen sofa bed | Luke, Gene and Alva |
3rd | Master Lawrie's Room | Two twins | Sean and Rachel |
3rd | Missy Hulda's Room | Two twins | Brittany M. and Hannah |
3rd | Master Percy's Room | Two twins | Brad and Tracy |
I want a roommate. Do any of the rooms at the Inn have more than one bed? If not, I need to stress that there will be no cuddling in my room.
ReplyDeleteYes! There are at least three rooms that have twins. I will post more later on the types of rooms available.
ReplyDeleteEric and I will want a room! How do we book?
ReplyDeleteYou can use the information above to choose the room you want, and then call Deb at 757-625-5033. Don't forget to mention that you are with the wedding.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Justin! Between Master Percy's room and Missy Hulda's room, which would you say is less haunted?
ReplyDeleteWell, Missy Hulda was unjustly executed for the false accusation of witchcraft in the Great Purge of 1693, but they never did find Master Percy's body. I'd say it's a push.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a scavenger hunt is on the agenda for the weekend!
ReplyDeleteSean and I have booked Master Lawrie's room!
ReplyDeleteThompson trio will have to be at the Residence Inn. Toddler + bed and breakfast = hazardous. I hope we won't miss much being there.
ReplyDeleteWe'll miss you! Also, we literally have the entire bed and breakfast rented to our party, so there will be no problem with you three being around there any time you aren't sleeping.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Justin!
ReplyDeleteI booked Master Percy's Room for Saturday night. Sorry I cannot get there before Saturday morning. I have an extra twin bed now if anyone wants to split the rate with me, or I can just push the beds together, stretch out, and sleep naked like I normally do. OR! I can share the room and sleep naked! OR! Ok, that's enough.
